MoEF&CC's ENVIS Resource Partner on Avian Ecology, BNHS India & Conservation Education Centre Mumbai, are organizing a Webinar on 10th May 2020, for the school students on the topic “Climate change - its impact on biodiversity” & “Ethics of bird watching”. The webinar will introduce basic mechanism of human induced Climate Change & its effect on Biodiversity along with an insight on ethics to be followed during bird watching.

MoEF&CC focuses on the National Action Plan for Conservation of Migratory Birds & their habitats along the Central Asian Flyway which is one of the 9 identified flyways in the world! A flyways is a route, regularly used by large numbers of migrating birds through which they move from breeding to Non-breeding areas, including intermediate resting and feeding places.

Migrating water birds depend on a network of healthy Wetlands for completing their migratory cycle.
